My Silly Kids

I just thought I would post some random pictures of my kids from this last week. My kids are so funny lately and I love to watch them grow up and develop their own personality's.
Here is Lauryn being a princess. She is starting to get into stuff like this and I think it is so cute. She made me turn on some music and help her get into her outfit and then she just danced. I love girl stuff like this. I think it is so cute.
After I got them bathed the other day I let them put their robes on and just relax while I finished folding the laundry. Next thing I know they were standing in my room looking at me like this. What made them think to do this? They are hilarious sometimes.

Here is Braxton playing on pbskids.org and doing some office work. This is what him and Lauryn LOVE to do lately. They will sit at the computer just playing games for as long as I will let them get away with it. I can't believe they are old enough to know how to do it.
I just love these crazy kids! Can't wait for the next one to arrive!

Celine Dion

We finally made it to the Celine Dion concert. It was scheduled back it November and got cancelled and moved to last Sunday. It was super wierd going to a concert on Sunday but it was so worth it. It was AMAZING! She is so talented and kind. I loved it. Thank you so much Gaylen (TJ's dad)!

Not the best picture but it's the only one we got.

Our Valentines

We had a really good Valentines Day this year. We didn't do anything really fabulous but it was so fun to just be home with the family and do fun things together. The kids and I made Valentine cookies for us to give to the grandparents. They love making cookies with me and they always turn out really cute. The top picture are the ones that they decorated.

TJ and I kept our gifts nice and simple this year. All he wanted was his favorite chocolate muffins from costco. Here's his basket with his muffins, card, and coupon book.

TJ was so cute. He had remembered me showing him a picture in a magazine of some roses in a vase like this that I thought was so cute. So he went took the time to do it for me.

This is what the kids and I did for him. We wrote down all the reasons why we love him and heart attacked his side of the bathroom before he woke up. The kids loved coming up with reasons of why and I think they turned out so cute and FUNNY!

The kids thought it was so great that they got gifts for Valentines. For one of the gifts we gave them a bubble machine. They absolutely LOVED it! We took it right down stairs to the unfinished basement and turned it on for them while they jumped on the tramp. It was really fun.

For dinner we got a Papa Murphey's heart shaped pizza and bread sticks. The kids thought it was great. Then TJ set up the projector in our room again to watch a movie with the kids.

This was the other thing TJ did for me. I really wanted some chocolate covered strawberries but when he went to get them they were all out. So he went to the store and got bakers chocolate and strawberries and we made them at home with the kids. They were super yummy ! Thanks babe!
We had such a good Valentines. I think it was one of my favorites. I love you TJ, Lauryn, and Braxton!

Family Fun

We took the kids to Home Depot for the kids club on Saturday. They made Helmet book ends and of course had so much fun. It is always so much fun to take them to do stuff like this. Thanks Missy for the reminder!

After the kids club we headed over to Wendy's for some lunch. I love this picture of my kids and completely explains them lately. The are such little rascals and are best friends one minute and enemies the next! Cute little kids!

This is always their favorite part. Painting the project. It just kills TJ to let them just paint whatever on it cause he wants to stain it all nice or something but I think it's so cute and fun to see what they do with them. So far we love these kids clubs.

Remember how I said the kids got TJ some Nerf guns for his birthday? Well they are the new favorite thing in our house. TJ and the kids are constantly running around playing with them. Yes those are full on goggles that they got at the Lowe's kids club. They are pretty dang serious about their games. I think it's so cute.

We took the kids to Chucky Cheese's just for some good old fun. I haven't been there in years and was a little nervous it would be to expensive or that it would be to dirty in there. I was really impressed though at the cleanliness and the price (they have coupons on chuckycheese.com). The kids absolutely LOVED it and we had a good night together as a family.

Hospital / TJ's Birthday

It is true. It all started Saturday when I was contracting and just feeling crappy all day long. I tried to deal with it and went to bed that night and I was up half of the night in so much pain. In the morning I sent TJ and the kids to church and stayed home to rest since I had had no sleep but I still was in pain and it was getting worse. I finally sucked it up and called my friends at the hospital and they told me I should come in to be checked out. I started bawling because I was so nervous, worn out, uncomfortable and I seriously couldn't tell what the heck was going on with my body. So 2 hours before we were supposed to be at TJ's mom and dad's for TJ's birthday dinner we headed to Labor and Delivery. I felt so bad because TJ was missing his birthday dinner his mom had made for him and I was such an emotional wreck from it all but he kept telling me it was fine and he was getting to watch the super bowl with little distractions from kids. It ended up I had KIDNEY STONES and it was making me CONTRACT every two minutes. It was miserable. I am just finally feeling better but I seriously have had the last 4 days from hell! I have been in so much pain and I felt horrible not being able to take care of my kids. It really has sucked!
On a happy note... It was TJ'S BIRTHDAY on Monday. As you can all guess it wasn't that exciting since I was dealing with my kidney stones but we did manage to go see a movie and then get a fast dinner before I crashed again. He got a new blackberry so he can use the Internet and email from it (I hope I don't regret this) whenever he needs to for clients. And the kids picked him out some sweet Nerf guns to play with at home together. Happy Birthday TJ! He's the big 26!
